Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using M2L Easy Roadmap ("M2L," "the Service"), a product of 8401 Technologies, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Service
M2L is a web-based roadmap planning tool that allows users to create, manage, and visualize product and project roadmaps. The Service is offered on a freemium basis with paid subscription tiers that unlock additional features and higher usage limits.
3. Accounts and Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use at customersupport@map2launch.com
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
M2L offers the following subscription tiers:
- Starter (Free): Limited access with up to 2 initiatives and 10 features per roadmap.
- Pro ($7/month): Up to 5 roadmaps, 5 initiatives, and 25 features per roadmap, plus export and import features.
- Expert ($12/month): Up to 10 roadmaps, 50 initiatives, and 250 features per roadmap, plus all Pro features and team sharing.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of this section without prior notice.
6. Intellectual Property
The M2L application, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by 8401 Technologies, LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes.
You retain ownership of any roadmap content, data, or materials you create within the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 8401 TECHNOLOGIES, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Sections 6, 8, 9, and 11 of these Terms survive termination.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Edgecombe County, North Carolina.
